A fast-drying clear protective coating designed for the insulation and corrosion protection of electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs). It cures rapidly at room temperature, to improve the gloss and shine of PCBs, used in industry, making engineering projects, tech prototypes for students, technicians and specialist engineers in the field of electricity and electronics, as well as hobbyists.
This coating is safe and suitable for laboratory or home use, by following simple tech steps for coat one or more PCBs so it saves time and cost.
Features:
• Easy and cures rapidly coating.
• Transparent protective film, glossy and shiny.
• High dielectric strength.
• Leakage resistance greater than 600 ohms.
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +150°C.
• Resists moisture, liquids, acids, alkalis, salts, corrosive vapors and dust.
• 50ml is sufficient to coat up to 1200 square centimeters of PCB surface area at room temperature.
Usage:
• Insulation of electronic components, printed circuit boards and photo-resist PCBs.
• Optimal corrosion protection for parts exposed to harsh environmental conditions and waterproof.
Usage Recommendations (very important):
1.Follow safety precautions.
2.Clean the target area thoroughly, it must be dry and free of oils, grease and dirt.
3.Shake the bottle, then spray the target area evenly (A soft-bristle brush may be utilized for coating application).
4.Wait for (5) minutes until the coating begins to dry (avoid touching the coated area).
5.Apply low-velocity hot air for (2) minutes at a temperature range of 40–50°C to accelerate coating curing (avoid high air velocity, as it may cause coating displacement and surface rippling/uneven thickness).
6.Wait a few minutes for the board to cool down before use (To increase coating thickness, a second layer may be applied after (6) hours by repeating the previous steps).
Notes:
• For best results, follow the usage recommendations.
• Coating should be the final stage after manufacturing, assembly, soldering and functional testing.
• Do not move the board immediately after spraying to prevent sagging, uneven thickness, or “waving” of the coating layer.
• Curing and hardening time depend on coating thickness and ambient temperature (faster in hot, dry conditions; thicker layers require longer curing times).
• The coating can be easily and fully removed using thinner.
Safety Precautions:
• Wearing plastic gloves is recommended when using.
• Perform the process in a well-ventilated area.
• Use enough water when eyes or wounds are touched.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after using & keep away from children.
Appearance:
The solution is a dark orange liquid, packaged in a plastic bottle, net capacity 50ml.
